Large-scale training of military personnel of the border department of the FSB of Russia in the Trans-Baikal Territory was conducted by volunteers of the Altair detachment of the ChSMA. About 200 servicemen were trained near Priargunsk.
"Our task is to give the fighters not just knowledge, but confidence in their actions at a critical moment. When seconds count, every detail is important: the right bandage, the correct inspection algorithm, competent evacuation. What we have worked out today at the training ground are skills that can save someone's life," commented the head of the detachment Pavel Koryakin.
The classes were held in the most realistic conditions: all skills were practiced at the training ground. The program focused on the most critical first aid techniques on the battlefield. The servicemen have mastered a wide range of actions - from working in conditional zones (red, yellow, green) to complex manipulations. Including: stopping massive bleeding on the limbs and adjacent areas (including with the help of pressure bandages) with self- and mutual aid, proper examination of the wounded in the yellow and green zones, providing assistance in case of airway obstruction, pneumothorax and prolapse of abdominal organs, immobilization of fractures of the limbs, pelvis and cervical spine, evacuation of the wounded with and without stretchers.
- I am proud of our team of volunteers and grateful to the servicemen for their involvement and serious attitude to training, - says Pavel Koryakin. - We are doing a common cause: strengthening readiness for any challenges.
