The class was conducted by Tatyana Rogaleva, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, Candidate of Medical Sciences, neonatologist, resuscitator. Under her guidance, the participants analyzed the algorithms of actions step by step: when the heart stopped, what to do first, in what sequence to act. Every technique was practiced on mannequins. This made it possible to bring the technique of chest compressions and artificial respiration to automatism.
We also analyzed a situation that all parents are afraid of: a foreign body in the respiratory tract. That very terrible moment when the child turned blue and cannot breathe because of a candy or a grape. And it is necessary to act quickly, skillfully in order to provide urgent assistance.
- As aparent and as a teacher, I am especially acutely aware of how important it is to be able to act quickly and correctly in emergency situations, especially when it comes to children, - Irina Alexandrova, a teacher at ZabIZhT, who attended the event with her colleagues, shared her impressions. - The information received at the course turned out to be not just theoretical: it is practical, structured and immediately ready for use in real life. The implementation of the project "Healthy Children – Healthy Nation" continues.
As a reminder, this project received funding from Norilsk Nickel as part of the People of the Territory program for one million rubles. It has been implemented since March 2026, events are held weekly. Funds are used to support women who find themselves in a difficult life situation: from families of participants in the military operation, single-parent and large families, as well as young and elderly mothers.
