In July 2026, as part of the implementation of the academic mobility program, a delegation of Qiqihar Medical University (CMU) visited Qiqihar Medical University (CMU) This visit was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Qiqihar Medical University, with which the cooperation of Qiqihar State Medical University has been going on for more than 25 years.
The celebration of the anniversary was led by the Vice-Rectors of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy A.A. Zhilina and E.V. Sazhin. At the official reception, the Russian delegation was personally greeted by President Jin Yan, as well as Vice-President of the CMU Pei Junrui, Director of the International Cooperation Department Wen Xianchun and his deputy Wang Xiaoli. The leaders of the Academy congratulated the partner university on the anniversary and presented a memorable gift - a real samovar and a tea set made in the technique of Russian folk painting on ceramics "Gzhel". As personal gifts, colleagues from the CMU were presented with symbols of Russia - hand-painted nesting dolls.

A landmark event in a series of solemn events was the International Forum, at the opening of which the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Educational Activities and Youth Policy of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Zhilina A.A. made a welcoming speech.
"In the world of medicine, there are no state borders. That is why partnership with you is especially valuable for the Academy. For more than a quarter of a century, our educational institutions have been developing international cooperation, following the principles of equality and mutual trust. Over the years, three joint educational projects have been implemented in the areas of "General Medicine", "Psychiatry" and "Dentistry". In the course of cooperation, we have achieved outstanding success in the field of educational cooperation, in the field of scientific research, improvement of clinical practice and academic exchange. Our relations have become a vivid example of fruitful Sino-Russian cooperation in the field of medicine and an example of true sincere friendship," Albina Alexandrovna Zhilina congratulated her colleagues.
At the conference within the framework of the International Forum on Pharmaceutical Innovations and High-Quality Development, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Qiqihar Medical University, Associate Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology of Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Elizaveta Taskina presented a scientific report "Pathogenetic Mechanisms of the Development of Neuro-ophthalmological Changes in Hypertensive Disorders during Pregnancy". Scientists from China, the United States, Nepal and Malaysia also took part in the forum, which emphasizes the high international status of the event and the relevance of the presented research.
The culmination of the cultural program was a grandiose festive concert in honor of the university's anniversary. The creative team of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy performed a bright vocal and dance number "Cultural Code of Russia", showing the richness and beauty of Russian traditions, embodying the ideas of love for the Motherland. The whole hall applauded talented artists from Russia!
Guests from Russia were offered a rich cultural and educational program. During their stay in Qiqihar, the Russian delegation visited the Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Museum of Natural History, the Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants, the Pharmaceutical Laboratory, and the Museum of Anatomy. In addition, the children went on an excursion to the Third Clinical Hospital at the University, walked through the Longsha City Park.
At a meeting with Chinese and foreign students of CMU, students of the Academy made a presentation about CSMA, scientific activities and volunteer movements.
During the trip, the children got acquainted not only with Chinese traditional medicine, but also with Chinese culture; Chinese teachers conducted an introductory tour of the University History Museum and the campus, as well as a master class in Tai Chichuan and table tennis.
