Nerchinsk schoolchildren became doctors for one day Specialists of the Center for Pre-University Training of Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy and future doctors visited school No9 in the city of Nerchinsk to introduce eighth-graders to the world of medicine. The children were told about the academy - faculties, student life, admission opportunities, passing scores, preparatory programs, such as the "District Chemistry and Biology Class", which help to confidently pass exams. After that, theory was replaced by practice. Schoolchildren were waiting for interactive platforms from student teams. The guys did not just listen, they tried themselves in the role of future doctors. With the Phoenix volunteer squad, they learned to provide first aid on a mannequin: they did artificial respiration, closed heart massage, figured out how to stop bleeding and much more. Students of the ALTAIR squad showed how to act in extreme situations and help themselves and others in emergency conditions. Members of the Alliance of Young Dentists organized a master class on oral hygiene: they checked plaque with special pills, showed the correct technique of brushing teeth and introduced the children to a training dental mannequin. The team of the Heart of Surgery volunteer squad introduced modern tools and showed how doctors perform complex operations through minimal incisions. As a result, the meeting turned out to be not only exciting, but also as useful as possible. Perhaps for some of the schoolchildren, this day was the first step towards the future profession of a doctor
