🎉 Santa Claus, pies from grandmother and "Rucheek": Indian students were told about Russian traditions
Dressing up a small souvenir Christmas tree, spinning in a circle dance, playing a folk game and shaking hands with Santa Claus - all this was perceived by the natives of the hot country with joyful surprise:
"We will definitely tell our relatives and teach them what we have learned!" says Madhumitha Rachukatla, a student of the Faculty of Medicine of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy.
The organizer of the event is the Department of International Cooperation of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy. The creative lesson was conducted by students of the multidisciplinary lyceum of Transbaikal State University as part of the author's project "Russian Winter".
🇷🇺 The Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia was also reflected in the program: "Snow Maidens" taught Indian students the basic movements of folk dances of various nationalities of the country. At the end - a friendly round dance, tea drinking and exchange of souvenirs.
"I really liked the program, we played, sang and danced, so much fun! We learned more about Russian culture and traditions. And we also really liked the cabbage pies. Thank you for holding such an event for us, Russia has become even dearer to us!" said MD Mozahid Ansari, a student of the Faculty of Medicine.
